Technical Textiles

Our conductive materials are essential for the development of smart textiles. They allow for seamless integration of sensors, heating elements, and conductive yarns into textile structures without affecting the comfort or flexibility of the fabric. This makes them ideal for electronic textiles and innovative wearable technologies. In addition, conductive textiles can be used in medical applications—for example, in sensors embedded in assistive systems. These so-called ambient assisted living systems can detect falls in time and monitor patients' lying positions.

Woven

Shieldex® Kassel RS

Conductive fabric metallized with copper and silver. With an electrical resistance of <0.03 Ω/□, Shieldex® Kassel RS is ideal for all technical applications. These include textile conductors and the shielding of cables and rooms against electromagnetic radiation.
Woven

Shieldex® Nora Dell CR

Shieldex® Nora Dell CR is metallized with silver, copper and nickel. With approx. 50% copper coating, this conductive textile is suitable for all technical applications as well as for the shielding of electromagnetic radiation in the industrial sector. The additional CR coating makes the conductive textile compatible for clean room applications.
Shielding Fabrics

Shieldex® Technik-tex P130 + B

A knitted fabric metallized with silver, which consists of 22% elastomer, making it stretchable in two sides. The textile has been specially developed for the smart wearables industry as well as for muscle stimulation (EMS) in sports and for the medical sector. The conductive textile is OEKO-Tex® certified and can therefore be worn next to the skin.
Shielding Fabrics

Shieldex® Technik-tex P180 + B

The knitted fabric metallized with pure silver consists of 6% Dorlastan and, compared to Shieldex® Technik-tex P130 + B, is only stretchable in one direction. The conductive textile is particularly well suited as a dry electrode, as the silver-plated surface enables perfect homogeneous current distribution.
Woven

Shieldex® Zell RS

Extremely conductive fabric metallized with silver, copper and tin and an electrical surface resistance of 0.02 Ω/□. The tin coating makes Shieldex® Zell RS solderable and makes it the optimum material for textile conductors and printed circuit boards.
