Shieldex® Porto RS

Conductive polyester fabric metallized with copper and tin. The shielding performance of Shieldex® Porto RS is up to 87 dB in the frequency range up to 26 GHz! The tin coating allows the conductive textile to be soldered. In addition, its structure makes it ideal for textile seals.

Shieldex® Porto RS

Shieldex® Porto RS is a ripstop fabric made of 100% polyester, metallized with tin in addition to copper. The shielding performance of Shieldex® Porto RS is up to 87 dB in the frequency range up to 26 GHz. Due to the additional tin coating, the conductive textile can be soldered and thus enables very good contacting with other components. The electrical surface resistance is up to <0.02 Ω/□. In industry, it is therefore used for many technical applications in which mechanical stresses are paramount. In addition, it is ideally suited for textile seals. But also due to its extremely high shielding performance, Shieldex® Porto RS is processed for products in the field of electromagnetic shielding. These include textile cable shielding, room shielding and mobile EMC tents. REACH and RoHS conformity is given.
