Shielding performance of 80 dB in the frequency range 0.2 GHz to 14 GHz! This thermally bonded non-woven fabric finished with copper has a surface electrical resistance of < 0.02 Ω/□, making it ideal for industrial use. The uniqueness is the self-adhesive backing, which is perfect for room shielding.
Shieldex® Kiel-SK-96 is a thermally bonded nonwoven metallized with pure copper. Due to the high copper content of almost 50%, the nonwoven is both thermally and electrically conductive. The electrical surface resistance is up to <0.02 Ω/□. The shielding performance of electromagnetic rays is up to 80 dB. For this reason, the conductive nonwoven is processed in industry as a wallpaper shielding against high-frequency electromagnetic radiation. The special feature is the self-adhesive backing of the conductive fleece. The mask can be easily peeled off and the textile can be glued to the wall. Shieldex® Kiel-SK-96 is also processed in EMC gaskets. RoHS and REACH conformity is given.
