Shieldex® Balingen
Metallized with pure silver, Shieldex® Balingen is an electrically and thermally conductive knitted fabric. The electrical conductivity of < 0.6 Ω/□ and a silver content of approx. 20% make this conductive knitted fabric ideal for smart textiles and sensory applications, but also for antimicrobial products in the field of hygiene. Silver is a biocidal active ingredient according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation.
Shieldex® Balingen
Shieldex® Balingen is a knitted fabric metallized with silver and consisting of multifilaments, which is primarily used for smart textiles and EMC shielding products in the low-frequency range from 0.2 to 2 GHz. With an electrical resistance of < 0.6 Ω/□, Shieldex® Balingen is highly electrically and thermally conductive and is therefore popular for sensory applications in the field of smart textiles and wearables. Due to the silver anchored in the material, Shieldex® Balingen also has an antimicrobial effect and can be used in the field of veterinary medicine. RoHS and REACH conformity is given.
