Flame-Retardant Conductive Textiles

Our FR-treated Shieldex® fabrics combine electrical conductivity with an additional flame-retardant coating. The materials have been tested in accordance with EN ISO 11925-2:2020-09 and are classified as Euroclass E according to EN 13501-1:2019.

Shieldex® Bremen RS FR

Shieldex® Bremen RS FR combines the proven electrically conductive properties of the base material with an additional flame-retardant coating applied to one side. The flame-retardant coating is located on the dark side of the material and is classified as Euroclass E in accordance with EN 13501-1:2019. The FR treatment helps inhibit flame development and reduces afterflame when the material is exposed directly to flame. Thanks to its flexible and kink-resistant construction, Shieldex® Bremen RS FR is particularly suitable as an additional protective layer for Shieldex® shielding enclosures and comparable applications in mission-critical environments.

Shieldex® Nora Dell FR

Shieldex® Nora Dell FR combines the high electrical conductivity of Shieldex® Nora Dell with an additional flame-retardant coating applied to one side. The robust polyamide ripstop fabric is metallized with silver, copper and nickel and is designed for technically demanding applications. The additional FR coating is applied to the dark side of the material and adds flame-retardant protection. The coated side also remains electrically conductive. The combination of high conductivity, a durable ripstop structure and additional FR treatment makes Shieldex® Nora Dell FR a suitable material for demanding shielding and protective constructions where both electrical functionality and improved fire performance are required.

Shieldex® Zell RS FR

Shieldex® Zell RS FR extends the functional properties of Shieldex® Zell RS with an additional flame-retardant coating applied to one side. The flexible polyamide ripstop fabric is metallized with silver, copper and tin and is characterized by high electrical conductivity and good electrical contactability. A key feature is the additional tin metallization, which supports reliable electrical contacting of the conductive textile and makes Zell RS a versatile material for technical shielding constructions. In the FR version, this functionality is complemented by a flame-retardant coating applied to the dark side of the material. This coated side also remains electrically conductive.
