Shieldex® Zipper
Shieldex® zippers are fully silver-plated and thus electrically conductive and additionally shielding against EMC radiation. The zippers are processed in the field of EMC shielding as closure options in EMC tents or smart textiles. When processing the zippers in smart textiles, new application possibilities can arise due to the electrical conductivity. For example, it is possible to use the silver-plated zippers to control integrated sensors by opening and closing the zippers.
