Shieldex® Silitex is a pure silver metallized knitted fabric consisting of 78% polyamide and 22% elastane. The elastane is knitted in warp and weft direction, so that this electrically and thermally conductive textile is denhable on both sides. The special feature of Shieldex® Silitex is the silicone coating on one side. This additional coating makes the conductive textile very resistant to mechanical stress. The electrically conductive materials make Shieldex® Silitex ideal for use with dry electrodes for electronic muscle and nerve stimulation or for measuring vital parameters in sports and medical applications.
