Features & Applications

Shieldex® Kiel + 30

Shieldex® Kiel + 30 is a thermally bonded nonwoven metallized with pure copper. Due to the high copper content of almost 50%, the nonwoven is both thermally and electrically conductive. The electrical surface resistance is up to <0.02 Ω/□. The shielding performance of electromagnetic radiation is up to 80 dB in the frequency range from 0.2 GHz to 14 GHz. For this reason, the conductive nonwoven is processed in industry as wallpaper shielding against high-frequency electromagnetic rays or as antistatic dissipation in electronic components.
