Shieldex® 117/17 x2 HCB TPU
Shieldex yarn as a textile cable replacement - this highly conductive yarn with <300 Ω/m has an additional, transparent TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coating. This coating protects the yarn from external influences. Due to its high thermal and electrical conductivity, the yarn is the ideal cable replacement for flexible and textile applications. Short circuits and the resulting downtimes are minimized.
Shieldex® 117/17 x2 HCB TPU
Shieldex® 117/17 x2 HCB TPU is a high tenacity, 2-ply twisted Shieldex yarn with a titer of 117dtex and round cross-section. The conductive yarn is additionally coated with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and is used in the textile industry as an alternative to conventional cables. The additional coating makes the yarns the perfect alternative to conventional cables. It is therefore possible to lay cable to cable without causing a short circuit. In addition, the yarn is protected from external influences and also has enormous weight advantages. Examples of processing are leads for sensors, actuators and heating textiles. Furthermore, this yarn can be laid with an embroidery machine. OEKO-Tex® certification and RoHS and REACH conformity is given.
