Shieldex® Nora Dell FR
Shieldex® Nora Dell FR combines the high electrical conductivity of Shieldex® Nora Dell with an additional flame-retardant coating applied to one side. The robust polyamide ripstop fabric is metallized with silver, copper and nickel and is designed for technically demanding applications. The additional FR coating is applied to the dark side of the material and adds flame-retardant protection, while the coated side also remains electrically conductive. The combination of high conductivity, a durable ripstop structure and additional FR treatment makes Shieldex® Nora Dell FR a suitable material for demanding shielding and protective constructions where both electrical functionality and improved fire performance are required.
Fire Performance
Shieldex® Nora Dell FR features a flame-retardant coating and is classified as Euroclass E in accordance with EN 13501-1:2019. The Vertical Burn Test was conducted in accordance with EN ISO 11925-2:2020-09. The FR coating helps inhibit flame development and reduce afterflame of the material. FR stands for Flame Retardant.
